2. Service Description

Free Transfer is a peer-to-peer (P2P) file transfer service that enables direct browser-to-browser file sharing using WebRTC technology. We do not store, host, or process the files you transfer through our service.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Not transmit any content that infringes intellectual property rights
• Not transmit malware, viruses, or harmful code
• Not use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others
• Not attempt to interfere with or disrupt the service

4. No Storage or Data Retention

Free Transfer does not store files on our servers. All transfers occur directly between users' browsers. We do not have access to the content of your files and do not retain any file data after transfer completion.

5. Privacy and Security

File transfers are encrypted end-to-end using WebRTC technology. However, you are responsible for ensuring that you only share files with intended recipients. Please review our Privacy Policy for more information.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

7. Limitation of Liability

Free Transfer and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the service.

8. Intellectual Property

The Free Transfer service code is open source under the MIT License. The Free Transfer name, logo, and branding are property of their respective owners.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to our service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable international laws regarding internet services and data protection.
